Simply "Like" the Alamo Facebook Page and Enter for a Chance to Win $5,000 Cash Towards a Dream Reunion with Friends
In the upcoming movie Disney's "The Muppets," Kermit the Frog sets out on a cross-country, around-the-world drive in hopes of getting the Muppets back together one more time. In celebration of the upcoming theatrical release of the movie, which opens nationwide on November 23, 2011, Alamo Rent A Car is launching the Alamo® Get The Gang Back Together Sweepstakes. One lucky winner will receive $5,000 cash towards a dream vacation to reunite with his or her own group of friends.
In Disney's "The Muppets," one of the film's stars, Amy Adams, uses an Alamo-branded map of Los Angeles to find her way around the city. The Muppets also star in an Alamo television commercial promoting both the upcoming film and the Alamo Get The Gang Back Together Sweepstakes. An outtake video starring Fozzie Bear will appear on the Alamo Facebook page in conjunction with the sweepstakes.
"As the official rent a car of Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland® Resort, Alamo is thrilled to be a part of Disney's 'The Muppets' movie," said Susan Madigan, director for the Alamo Rent A Car brand. "In the movie, the characters embark on a journey to get their gang back together, so we're excited to offer our fans the chance to win $5,000 towards a dream vacation to reconnect with their friends."
Once Facebook users "Like" the Alamo Rent A Car page, they will have the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes as well as an instant-win game. To enter, fans can click the “Get The Gang Back Together” tab in the left column on the page. After registering for the grand prize, they can “Check Your Luggage” for a chance to receive instant-win prizes, including gas cards, free Alamo rentals, Muppets prize packs and more.
Alamo Facebook fans can enter the sweepstakes once per day, and members of Alamo Insiders can receive two entries per day.
