I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and safe travel today! We are having a non-traditional kind of Easter this year. The kids received their big presents on Friday since we had a packed weekend. That way we could enjoy the activities with them, instead of trying to play and drive all over to everyone's house. Also, one of my son's friends had the great idea to have an egg dye party on Thursday, so we had already dyed eggs and played some Easter games. So at our house last night, we bought a kit from Walmart to decorate sugar cookies, they are shaped like eggs with all the fun colored icing and candies. We had a blast. I enjoyed this Easter a lot. Now it is off to Grandma and Grandpa's on both my side and Ken's side, thus about 3 hours driving. Will be a great time I am sure. Happy Easter everyone, enjoy your day!
