My Thoughts:
I want to say, I absolutely love Sesame Street. I always have. This video is very interesting. I have a 4 month old who loves TV and the colors. I usually set him up with something on Netflix, there is actually a good selection of baby style shows on there. I like to watch the things with the kids, especially when there are songs involved because my daughter has a speech disorder and we can sing together, but I have to know the words!
I really enjoyed this DVD. There are so many different things for each letter, and they used some hit songs through out the DVD as well. All in all, we loved it. Even though my older 2 know their ABC's the things that are shown for each letter also peak their curiosity when it is something they have never seen. They go through so many different items for each letter it really is a great learning tool, and there are even some words I forgot about that just aren't as common. It also gives us a chance to sing along and be silly with each other, and baby boy can watch us and laugh. I totally recommend this for anyone with kids.

I am excited I was able to try these awesome cookies out. They are made in Maumee, OH which is only about 3 and a half hours from where I live. I will say they are definitely unique, and quite tasty! My children even loved them, my son is a picky eater and my daughter has a sensory disorder which some textures do not agree with her. They both loved all of them except the sesame seed ones. Which I can understand, the kids really aren't exposed to them on a regular basis. Honestly, I think they have only eaten them on buns.

Our overall opinion, they are terrific! I enjoy the fact that they are a "Guilt Free" snack for me, and a great afternoon snack for the kids. They get their sweet fix, with out all the sugar and salt from other cookies and chips. I have discovered them at several stores in my area, and we are in love! I would rather purchase a pack of these knowing they are all natural and have no added salt, sugar or fats. My favorite is the original, my daughter loves Chocolate Cherry, my son loves the Cinnaroma, and my fiancee is partial to the Almonduo, he is an almond nut literally!
I recommend everyone to at lease give these a try, especially if you have kids that need a healthy snack. My son is such a picky eater, he has been his whole life (he is going to be 9) and he LOVES these. My daughter (she is going to be 6) had an autism spectrum disorder with sensory and speech issues, but she could eat these all day! She loves the textures and many different flavors she gets, and odd enough, each biscuit is different, I mean they have the same flavors, but some for instance have more raisins and nuts than another. Out of all 8 packs I received, there was NO shortage of either though! Every biscuit was packed with awesome flavor and ingredients. I am super happy I have replaced after school snacks with something this unique and healthy for the kids. I am on a hunt for the chocolate dipped ones for extra special treats for the kids. Create a Budget
A budget gives you parameters and purpose, it gives you boundaries, and it gives you freedom to live creatively within those boundaries.
Shop With Cash
When you shop with a credit card (or even a debit card, for that matter!) you can have your budget in your head and you can do the best to stick with it when you check out, but it’s so much easier to go just a little bit over here and there when you’re swiping!
Plan a Menu
When you have a plan in place for what you’re supposed to be eating each meal and you’ve already purchased the ingredients for those recipes, it’s a lot harder to justify chucking the plan for takeout.
Use Coupons
Coupons are a great way to save a lot of money on your grocery bill, but they can be hard to keep up with. Clipping, sorting, and organizing coupons takes time — so enter a coupon database! You’ll have access to printable and other coupons currently available and it’s one of the most effective and efficient ways to save money on groceries.
Buy Store Brands
One way to save a great deal of money on your grocery budget is to learn to like and use a variety of brands. The sooner you can get over being a brand-snob, the more your pocketbook will thank you.
For example, while I breast fed my children, moms who choose to formula feed can save up to 50 percent by switching to store brand formula, which meets the same FDA quality standards as expensive name brands. There are also coupons available at a website - StoreBrandFormula.com (www.storebrandformula.com). This one simple change can save moms about $600 a year.
My thoughts on store brands:
I have 3 kids, a son who is 8, a daughter who is 5 and a new born who is just 5 weeks old. I have used store brands for all of them for some type of product or another. I was actually excited to get to try these out since it has been a while since I had a little one to use these items and it is great to try them out. I have used the Parent's Choice formula in the past with no issues with both my oldest, and can now with my newest addition. At this time baby Kenny is on Similac Sensitivie, so I will not be able to use this container of formula, but his Dr. has stated we will introduce regular formula in several weeks, so I will definitely give it a shot then. At this time, with him being so young, like many babies his digestive system is sensitive, and he is very gassy, so he needed a different type of formula for fussiness and gas...I have however checked and seen that Parent's Choice makes an equivalent to the Similac and it is half the price so I do believe we will be using it as well as the other products I already purchase.
I am also adding some rice cereal to his formula to help keep some volume and help with spit up. I use Parent's Choice. There are a couple reasons:
** I purchased these cereals myself, they were not included in my prize pack.**
1. It is less expensive, even it is only $0.60 or so, for that I can grab a small bottle of water to throw in the car for the formula!
2. Gerber changed their packaging. Ok, it looks cool, it seems more practical, but the twist lid is a bit much and it comes off in my diaper bag! Talk about a mess and I lost the cereal I paid more for.
3. It is comparable to the Gerber nutrition wise.
I started reading Crystal's book, and it is pretty interesting so far. I can't to finish it and use her tips for budgeting and making menus.
