Totino’s Brand Introduces a Portable Pizza Stuffer for Kids – Perfect for On-the-Go
No time to eat? Especially if it’s messy? A recent survey conducted by new Totino’s® Pizza Stuffers found that while 90 percent of women with school-aged children* think it’s important to give their kids a snack in between lunch and dinner, more than half of moms (61%) say they are too busy preparing dinner or finishing work to give their kids an afterschool snack. And, three-quarters (75%) of moms say their least favorite parts of snack time are finding a snack or cleaning up.
Luckily, help is on the way for moms nationwide looking for a tasty and convenient option for their kids from time to time. Totino’s®, makers of Totino’s Pizza Rolls® Snacks and Totino’s Party Pizza®, introduces Totino’s Pizza Stuffers – a less mess, on-the-go pizza. Totino’s is proud to bring consumers their favorite foods, like pizza, now in a kid-friendly form… so, no matter how busy mom is, she can be sure her kids are getting a delicious afternoon snack that they are excited to eat and that leaves less mess behind!
Less mess? Yes, please! According to the survey, nearly half of moms (48%) do not serve their kids their favorite snacks because they are too messy or not filling, and two of every five moms (39%) said their kids’ snacks end up on their clothes, instead of in their mouths. Other responses included in the couch and in the car! In fact, most moms (78%) have found a lost French fry in their cars while cleaning, and two-thirds (66%) have also found crackers or chips hiding during their car cleanouts.
Totino’s Pizza Stuffers is a tasty option; it’s delicious, warm and convenient and comes in a kid-friendly shape, designed to keep the filling inside, instead of all over everything else. Available in Pepperoni, Cheese and Combination (Pepperoni and Sausage), Totino’s Pizza Stuffers makes snack time a treat for moms who are sick of cooking and cleaning up. Less mess and great taste mean more fun for both mom and kids!
“We know that moms are busy. It’s part of the job. To make things easier, we are thrilled to introduce Totino’s Pizza Stuffers as a fast, on-the-go snack option,” said Matt McQuinn, marketing manager for Totino’s. “Pizza Stuffers deliver on taste, convenience and less mess. It’s a win-win snack selection for moms everywhere.”
Some other interesting statistics that the survey revealed:
* Drive-Thru Woes: Almost three-fourths (74%) of moms have gotten the wrong food in a drive-thru line, 72 percent have had slow service, and 65 percent have had to wait in a long line
* Mom’s Food Factors: The most important qualities about snacks to a mom are that the food is easy to make (31%), tastes good (26%) and is portable (17%)
Totino’s Pizza Stuffers are microwaveable in minutes, although they can also be cooked in the oven for a crisper crust. Totino’s Pizza Stuffers are now available nationwide in the freezer section of local supermarkets in four-packs, with a suggested retail price of $3.99.
