About Caféwell:
Caféwell was created to provide a safe, secure and anonymous health care destination that connects you with other people who share your health care interests and needs. Caféwell is the only destination that exists for one reason "health." The Caféwell Community is there to address your needs, from chronic condition support, to healthy lifestyle tips and challenges. CaféWell understands how complex and difficult the health care system is to navigate. We make it easy to get the health information you need, when and where you want it.
I believe that today we live in a social networking world. That being said, I am excited to tell you about Cafe Well. I joined to see what it was all about before I committed to this post. If you are a long-time reader, you know I suffer from Depression/Anxiety, as new readers, you now know also. These are not easy conditions to deal with. I am really happy to find a community of people I can chat with that know about the situation, because they too have similar problems.
There is a lot of information available on Caféwell. You are able to join communities that suit your interest or social needs. There is a new video posted daily on the homepage for you to watch. There are blogs available to read, as well as topics within the discussion groups that may interest you depending on your needs/interests. There is also a section set up for Challenges. The challenges I read through seemed pretty useful, just little things to make you feel accomplishment. Some challenges included Read 100 Books In A Year, Run Through the Holidays, and Not One Ounce Holiday Challenge. I like the idea of having a go, however I love accomplishing the goal even more. If I were to create a challenge, I would get a group of my friends together start a fitness/healthy eating challenge for losing weight and being healthy. A few of my friends as well as myself are on weight loss missions. I think it would be great to make a goal with goof friends, keep track of progress, and share it with the communities on Caféwell.
